I had an awesome time with Ellen Jaffe Jones on this edition of the Vegan TourGuide Podcast!  She brings an INCREDIBLE amount of knowledge (I mean she's up to four (4) books so far that she's written to relay her knowledge to put it in perspective) plus she's a frequent speaker at conferences all over the place, most recently at the Plant Pure Summit 2016 Conference.  She grew up surrounded by illnesses in her family and loved ones and seeing this made her determined to make positive changes in her life which set her on this path.

She can be reached at and her four (4) books are: Paleo Vegan, Kitchen Divided, Eat Vegan on $4 A Day and Vegan Fitness for Mortals and be found on her website for purchase.

Many thanks for her coming on and joining me today and I know you'll enjoy this conversation with her!

Jason Rash is a great friend and someone that joins the podcast today to tell his story.  Jason talks about growing up in Alabama on traditional southern fried food and to his "dare" to eat a vegetable off the shoneys' salad bar (can we say tipping point in his life).  Jason then tells the remarkable story of his son's diagnosis of autism and the determination and COMMITMENT of Jason and his awesome wife Brooke to find a way to BEAT this and how the Plant Based - Vegan Lifestyle took away all of these parts of autism and they now have an incredible son (that loves to upstage them on their FB live shows, lol).  Jason tells about his daily meals that give him all the fuel he needs to complete ten (10) INTENSE workouts per week including his one of a kind salad invention.  There is a LOT of energy on this show today and you will feed off of it in your lives, I guarantee it.  You can reach Jason and Brooke Rash on Facebook at TheSocialCircle or or Jason Rash on Facebook.

Here is the recipe for his rockstar Raw Cacao Hemp Shake:

Almond Butter (if it doesn't slide out of the jar, you've got the wrong kind)

Chia Seeds

2 Bananas

Unsweetened Almond Milk

Raw Cacao Powder (unsweetened)

BOOM!!! Launch the Rocket!
